The Reston Station mixed-use complex near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro stop on the Silver Line includes luxury, multi-family structures in addition to retail spaces and parking.

On Saturday April 30, 2016, SK&A Assistant Project Manager David Pirnia and Structural Engineer Sikandar Porter-Gill assisted the Structural Engineers Association of Metropolitan Washington (SEA-MW) with the Rebuilding Together initiative, to perform repairs on a home in Alexandria, VA. 

From Friday, April 29, 2016 to Saturday, April 30, 2016, SK&A team members participated in the American Odyssey Relay, a 200-mile race starting in the Civil War battlefields of Gettysburg, PA and ending at the Southwest Waterfront in Washington, DC. 

SKA DC Structural Engineer II, Maurice O’Connor participated as a judge for the Student Steel Bridge Competition held at The George Washington University (GWU) on Friday, April 1st, 2016.

The master plan for the high-profile development integrates residential, office, retail, hotel, and cultural facilities with numerous public spaces, including a three-acre waterfront park, along 27 acres of land overlooking the Potomac River.

The Turkish American Community Center (TACC) is located on a 15-acre campus with multiple buildings positioned around a centrally-located Mosque with dual 210-foot tall Minarets (towers), an Ablution area, and two separate fountains. 

On Friday, May 1, 2015 to Saturday, May 2, 2015, several SK&A Group employees participated in the American Odyssey Relay Run Adventure, “A Race Through History.”

On Sunday May 2, 2015, SK&A Engineer, Katie Bevington served as Team Captain for “Team Steel” in the 5K Race for Hope held in Washington, DC. 

On Saturday April 25, 2015, SK&A team members assisted the Structural Engineers Association of Metropolitan Washington (SEA-MW) with the Rebuilding Together initiative in Alexandria, VA.

On August 14-15, 2014, SK&A team members assisted the Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and participated in the Habitat for Humanity in Garrett County, MD.

The ribbon cutting ceremony for Ballou Senior High School was held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, a bright, sunny morning.

On Saturday, October 18, 2014, The SK&A Group held our annual family gathering at Summers Farm in Frederick, MD.

The groundbreaking ceremony for this new Class "A" office building was recently held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, a beautiful sunny day.

On Saturday, April 26th, a beautiful Spring day - several members of SEA-MW gathered at a home in Montgomery County, MD to participate in this year's Rebuilding Together.
