Our tradition of sharing culinary treats from our travels gives everyone a taste of different cultures throughout the year.

Immigration Support

We welcome professionals looking to join us from abroad. SK&A engages one of the most successful immigration lawyers in the Washington metro area to execute all USCIS preparation and filings.

Community Outreach

As individuals and as a company, we engage our larger community. Our workplace culture embraces making a positive impact on our communities and environment. We provide up to 8 hours per year of paid leave for community engagement opportunities that are meaningful to you, help those in need, and make the towns and cities we live in stronger.

We also sponsor corporate initiatives. For multiple years, SK&A has been recognized in the Washington Business Journal’s top corporate philanthropy list for both the number of hours we volunteered and the donations we made to causes we care about. Recurring community partnerships include the JDRF Real Estate Games, STEM Day for Kids, Canstruction, Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity.

Our goal is to provide future talent the chance to gain professional work experience through a summer internship.

We believe that having the opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to the practical experience of working in a professional environment under the direction of a mentor is invaluable. Whether technical or administrative, SK&A Interns engage with all levels of personnel to complete projects and tasks related to their course of study.

Internship positions are typically available in our engineering, human resources and marketing departments. Structural Engineer Interns may work on design analysis, construction administration tasks and accompany project managers on field visits. Administrative Interns may work with human resources to write company policies and complete benefits administration or with marketing to develop SK&A website content and maintain social media internet links.
