Glenn Weatherley, PE is a seasoned structural engineer with almost 40 years of invaluable experience. His extensive career has taught him that proactive problem-solving, effective communication, and a commitment to finding creative and efficient solutions are essential for a project’s success. As the Director of Quality Assurance/Technical Standards, he calls on his considerable design experience to perform comprehensive technical reviews of Construction Documents, delving into the intricacies of your project and offering insights and commentary on the structural adequacy, integrity, constructability, and economy of the proposed primary and secondary structural systems. His thorough approach includes evaluating design loads for compliance with the applicable building codes and standards, ensuring that the proposed design conforms with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and offering innovative solutions for improvement where appropriate. Glenn is a key contributor to the significant design work taking place in both of our offices.
In addition to his Quality Assurance responsibilities, Glenn also coordinates our efforts to provide regular continuing education opportunities to our technical staff and leads our in-house technical committees where we continually update technical guidelines, detailing standards, and engineering practices to keep pace with industry advances, incorporate market input, and maintain conformance to code revisions.
