Danna Anaya is a Structural Engineer with SK&A’s Design group in our Washington, DC office. In just her first year here, she has already made valuable contributions to several projects, including:
- Truesdell Elementary School Modernization in Washington, DC
- Wardman Park in Washington, DC
- 8145 Baltimore Boulevard in College Park, MD
Danna earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, graduating Magna Cum Laude and making the Dean’s List. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Danna is fluent in Spanish.
Danna is passionate about expanding her skills in structural engineering, particularly in designing projects that prioritize both safety and sustainability. Everywhere she goes, Danna says she sees how “structural engineers transform cities and pave the way for future development by providing resilient and adaptable infrastructure.” As she continues to grow and learn, she’s eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible in structural design, turning clients’ visions into reality.
