SK&A celebrated Women in Engineering Day with sweet treats, conversation, and plenty of team spirit in both our Potomac and Washington, DC offices.
The morning gathering brought colleagues together to recognize and celebrate the remarkable women of SK&A whose talent, leadership, and dedication help shape our work, our culture, and the built environment around us. From structural design and repair + restoration to building enclosure consulting, testing + inspection, project leadership, administration, and firmwide collaboration, women across SK&A continue to make meaningful contributions to our projects and our profession.
Women in Engineering Day is celebrated each year on June 23 in recognition of the founding of the Women’s Engineering Society in 1919. For SK&A, it was also an opportunity to pause, connect, and show appreciation for the women who strengthen our teams every day.
