Four Awards of Merit recognize projects featuring SK&A’s structural engineering, repair and restoration, testing, and inspection services.
Four projects featuring SK&A Structural Engineers’ services received Awards of Merit in Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2026 MidAtlantic Best Projects competition. The awards were presented on October 30, 2026, at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. Cindy Garman represented SK&A at the awards celebration and accepted the Award of Merit for Browne Education Campus Modernization on behalf of the project team.
Selected from submissions across the entire MidAtlantic region, this year’s 35 winning projects were evaluated by industry judges based on their ability to overcome challenges, design and construction quality, safety, innovation, best practices, and community benefit.
SK&A contributed to these award-winning projects through a range of services, including structural design, repair and restoration consulting, materials testing, and inspections. The four recognized projects span distinct award categories:
Bloomberg Student Center | Baltimore, MD
