Long known as Arlington’s “Wendy’s Site,” 2025 Clarendon now features a striking 16-story, triangular tower standing at the intersection of Wilson Blvd. and Clarendon Blvd. The structure, targeting LEED Gold, will include 231 residential units, below-grade parking, and ground floor retail. This 300,000 SF multifamily building is nearing completion, having just celebrated it’s Topping Out milestone. SK&A joined Architect Cooper Carry, Developer Greystar, and GC John Moriarty & Associates for the celebration. (This same team also recently completed the neighboring 20-story Commodore at Courthouse.)
Cooper Carry provides these additional details about 2025 Clarendon Blvd. on their website:
“The tight, triangular-shaped site is created by the intersection of the county’s two most prominent thoroughfares, providing dramatic distant views. The shape of the tower follows the form of the site and creates a symbolic “flatiron” architectural gateway at the seat of the county government. Each glass panel at the building’s dramatic, chamfered curtainwall façade reflects light differently throughout the day, making the prow of the façade extremely dynamic.”
We applaud the entire project team for their efforts in reaching this milestone and recognize the following SK&A team members who have contributed to this project’s success: Seth Rogge, PE, SE, Siddhant Patil, EIT, and Ahmed Al-Rahmani, PhD, PE
