SK&A returned to The St. James for a high-energy day of friendly competition supporting type 1 diabetes research.
SK&A was excited to return to The St. James in Springfield, Virginia, for the 2026 Breakthrough T1D Real Estate Games, joining real estate, design, construction, and AEC professionals from across the region for a day of friendly competition in support of type 1 diabetes research.
Led by team captain Naina Bhanot, EIT, LEED AP, SK&A participated in a wide range of events throughout the day, from basketball, pickleball, swimming, and spin to golf challenges, cornhole, scavenger hunt, and “Puzzle Me This.”
This year’s highlights included a 3rd place finish by Catherine Pastoor in Punt, Pass & Kick, along with a strong showing from SK&A’s basketball team, which won four of its six games in the 3-on-3 basketball competition.
