Supporting a Good Cause: SK&A Competes in 2018 JDRF Real Estate Games

June 7, 2018

The SK&A Group (SK&A) competed in the JDRF Real Estate Games held at American University in Washington, DC.  SK&A was once again involved as a gold-level sponsor to support JDRF’s efforts to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).  The SK&A team participated in a variety of sporting events: men’s basketball, chair hockey, corn hole, foosball, table tennis, volleyball, big trike derby, big ball, obstacle course, puzzle me this, minute to win it, heads of office, and the chair relay.

The team enjoyed their time at the games putting forth strong efforts in the various events.  Some notable accomplishments from this year’s games include a first and second place sweep in the foosball competition, the men’s three on three basketball team battled relentlessly for over three hours in their second elimination round, and a second place finish in one of the heads of office competition rounds.
