After a remarkable career spanning more than four decades in structural engineering, Glenn Weatherley, PE, will be retiring from SK&A at the end of the year. On October 29, colleagues gathered at Summer House in North Bethesda to celebrate Glenn, recognize his many contributions, and wish him all the best in this next chapter.
Across two tenures totaling 20 years with SK&A, Glenn has made a lasting impact on our firm. From his early years as a Project Engineer and Associate to his most recent role as Director of Quality Assurance/Technical Standards, he has helped strengthen our engineering practice, guide technical standards, and share his extensive knowledge with colleagues across the firm.
Known for his practical approach, thoughtful problem-solving, and dependability, Glenn has been a trusted resource and mentor to colleagues throughout the firm. His leadership of technical committees, commitment to continuing education, and emphasis on constructability, efficiency, and sound engineering judgment have supported technical excellence and consistency across our engineering practice.
Glenn, thank you for everything you’ve brought to SK&A over the years. We are grateful for the knowledge you’ve shared, the relationships you’ve built, and the many ways you’ve contributed to our success. We wish you and Julie many wonderful adventures, time with family, and opportunities to enjoy all that retirement has to offer!
