David was nominated by several of his co-workers. Below is an excerpt from the nomination submitted by Charles Mitchell, our Director of Testing and Inspection:
“David stands out amongst his peers through his technical competency as a structural engineer and his leadership qualities. David also stands out by the time he commits to educating clients, peers, contractors, and other stakeholders about the concrete repair & restoration industry. David contributes to the concrete repair & restoration industry through his involvement in ICRI, IIBEC, ACI, and SEA. Each year, David spends a considerable amount of time providing technical presentations, volunteering his time for education events, mentoring other engineers and contractors, and sharing his knowledge/experience following the completion of complex and challenging projects. …Amongst his successful projects and industry involvement, David’s most significant achievement lies in his dedication to educating and sharing his knowledge and experience with others. This has not only been a huge contribution to the success of our firm, but has also had a huge impact on the clients and contractors that he works with on a daily basis.”
