Elizabeth Seton High School

Elizabeth Seton High School is an all-girls private Catholic high school providing students with an enhanced science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) program focused on learning engineering and design (LEAD) to empower young women to reach their goals and succeed in the future. Students from the LEAD program were mentored by the project’s design team led by Soto Architecture and participated in the renovation’s design and development.

The scope of work for the dining hall renovation included the structural analysis and design for existing masonry walls to support new rooftop mechanical equipment, including adding new piers and openings in the masonry walls. The work also included the design and detailing of a new opening for a loading dock door and roller door attachment.
