Carroll County Career & Technology Center

Originally constructed in 1969, the Carroll County Career and Technology Center is a specialized vocational high school, with over 850 students and 23 career-oriented programs. The project includes 108,000 sf of new construction and 83,000 sf of renovation. Construction will be carried out over six phases, in order to modernize the building while continuing to serve students.

The new construction includes three additions, with the largest providing three floors of classroom, laboratory, office and dining spaces serving programs such as automotive mechanics, technology, cosmetology, nursing, culinary arts, digital arts, and fashion. A smaller addition will provide a heavy equipment shop and classroom. The final addition will serve the carpentry and building construction program with spaces for masonry construction and carpentry classrooms. Renovated spaces will be reconfigured for several additional programs including collision repair technology, machine technology, welding, HVAC, and electrical.
