On August 26th, SK&A team members Walid Choueiri and Scott Kabat joined Carmel Partners and Lessard Design at the groundbreaking ceremony for 100 Clinton Avenue, marking the start of a transformative residential development in Stamford, Connecticut.
The 4.3-acre site, located along the Rippowam River, will feature two seven-story residential buildings on either side of Clinton Avenue, between Division Street and Richmond Hill Avenue. The east-side building will include 176 homes, while the larger riverside structure will add 295 dwellings, together delivering 471 apartments to downtown Stamford. Each building is designed with seven stories of residences over two-story concrete podiums. The podiums incorporate parking and retail, while the residential levels above are framed in Type 3A wood construction, a system that combines durability at the base with efficiency and flexibility in the living spaces.
As shovels hit the ground, the project moves from vision to reality. For SK&A, it is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape Stamford’s riverfront and to continue our collaboration with Lessard and Carmel, long-standing clients and industry partners.
