Georgetown University Walking Tour

Attendees had the opportunity to meet design and construction professionals who are contributing to shaping the Georgetown University Campus through their work in planning and building the projects featured on this Walking Tour. Among the tour highlights were these SK&A projects: Cooper Field, Henle Village, Pedro Arrupe S. J. Hall, and Lauinger Library.

Details from AEI DC about this June 27th event:

“AEI DC and SEA MW are collaborating to host an upcoming Georgetown University campus walking tour that will showcase various new construction developments and renovations in and around the university campus.

This tour will provide an excellent opportunity to see the latest advancements and improvements to the university campus infrastructure, including new academic buildings, residential halls, and other facilities. You’ll gain insights into the vision behind these projects and how they enhance the Georgetown experience for students, faculty, and staff.

You’ll hear about notable buildings from the engineers who helped design and build them. After our 90-minute, 0.5-mile walk, feel free to join us for drinks near our end point. This event is free and open to all–you don’t want to miss it! RSVP is preferred but not required.”
