A member of SK&A’s Structural Repair + Restoration Division, Justin P. Long, PE, RBEC, BECxP, joined the firm in 2012. Justin’s project experience and expertise ranges widely, from structural concrete, post-tension concrete, steel, and historic structural repairs, to building enclosure consulting and building enclosure commissioning. Justin’s experience in structural repairs transcends all scopes of work from large scale parking garage repair projects to complete building and plaza renovations. His building enclosure experience is extensive and includes countless exterior façade & roof condition assessments, building enclosure, roofing, & waterproofing repair projects, consulting on new building enclosure design projects, performing hygrothermal analysis, and verifying field performance through commissioning and testing & inspection of building enclosure elements.

Industry Leadership

Oversees SK&A’s industrial rope access operations, which facilitates close-up evaluations and condition assessments of difficult to access façades and exterior building elements.
Served as President of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) Baltimore-Washington Chapter (2022-2023)
Serves as Treasurer of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) Mid-Atlantic Chapter (2023-2024)
Serves as the Secretary of ICRI Technical Committee 710 – Coatings & Waterproofing
Serves on the IIBEC Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC) Exam Subcommittee & CBECxP Committee
Serves on Penn State/University of Wisconsin/University of Illinois-Chicago Industry Advisory Board for Carbon-Negative Concrete Research
