SK&A’s Brent Stephens, PE and Ammar Motorwala, PE presented at the NCSEA Structural Engineering Summit in Chicago!
In their presentation, Ammar and Brent discussed lessons learned from their past experiences serving as both Structural Engineer of Record (SER) on certain projects as well as providing delegated FRP design services on other engineer’s projects, including the installation observations and associated QA inspection procedures for FRP during construction. A major focus was on coordination and communication of information between the SER and delegated FRP design engineer related to the structural strengthening needs.
