Siddhant Patil, EIT is a Structural Engineer I with the Design group in our Potomac, MD office. In just a year’s time, he has already made valuable contributions to several projects, including:
- The Cotton Annex in Washington, DC
- Strathmore Square in North Bethesda, MD
- Washington View Residential in Arlington, VA
Engineering runs in the Patil family. Siddhant’s father was also a structural engineer. Siddhant remembers, “I accompanied him to many site visits and watched the whole design process closely. From a young age, I had a propensity towards problem-solving and a curiosity about how everything was built and how it all worked.” Siddhant says he is passionate about working as a structural engineer because it allows him to contribute to the safety and well-being of individuals and communities.
Siddhant is originally from Navi Mumbai, India. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and then, in December 2022, completed his Master of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago.
