Since her arrival in our Potomac office, Samia has taken responsibility for insurance accounts and COIs, supported monthly billing and collections, kept vendor and subconsultant accounts current, contributed to payroll, and managed our corporate credit-card reconciliations, all with a calm, can-do attitude. Her diligence and eye for detail help keep our projects moving forward.
Beyond the spreadsheets and numbers, Samia’s generosity has literally “sweetened” office life. She frequently brings in homemade baked goods to share, and her signature hummus has quickly become legendary. Cementing her culinary bragging rights, her chili captured the first-place prize at our inaugural “Jersey Day & Chili Cook-Off” competition, which kicked off Super Bowl weekend this past February.
Originally from Sierra Leone, Samia came to us with extensive AEC finance experience and quickly became a trusted resource for the firm. Outside the office, she balances movie nights, reading, and fitness with community service through charity runs, fundraisers, and volunteering at her church.
