The new AvalonBay Communities headquarters in Arlington is a testament to the talents of the design and construction team who collaborated with the owner to bring their vision to fruition. “The amenities, attention to detail, and emphasis on occupant experience demonstrate the influence of the luxury travel sector on AvalonBay’s design ethos and the company’s awareness that those qualities have a favorable effect on an active, industrious workforce,” writes Celia Carnes in the ArchitectureDC Summer 2022 edition.
