SK&A Senior Principal, Guy Razzi recently served as a jury member for Penn State's Architectural Engineering (AE) Senior Thesis Competition.  The AE Senior Thesis is a year-long design project requirement for all undergraduate students enrolled in the architectural engineering program.  The students are required to obtain an outside sponsor to provide an actual building, which is used as the model for them to perform technical analysis, develop project criteria, and prepare a written proposal for advanced design work to present to the AE faculty.

Of the 90-100 student presentations, the AE faculty select eight finalists, two in each category for construction, lighting and electrical, mechanical, and structural, to represent their class and present their thesis in front of a jury of 30 visiting practitioners from various engineering disciplines.  The jury then selects one final winner in each category.
