April 8, 2019 - 8:30am to April 10, 2019 - 5:30pm
Jacksonville, FL

The International Concrete Repair Institute’s (ICRI) annual Spring Convention was held at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel from April 8-10, 2019.  This year’s theme focused on “Waterproofing with Aesthetics – Making It Dry and Appealing to the Eye,” featuring technical sessions, committee meetings, an exhibit hall, networking opportunities, and much more.  The event provided an opportunity for repair and restoration professionals of all levels to expand their understanding of concrete repair, protection, and restoration.

As representatives of ICRI's Baltimore-Washington Chapter, The SK&A Group's Repair & Restoration Division and affiliate, Eastern Testing & Inspection, sent a team of three ICRI members to attend the convention.

  • David Rodler, a Senior Principal with SK&A, is a co-chair of the Evaluation Committee and an ICRI Fellow and a current member of ICRI's Publications and Guide Specifications Committees.
  • Charles Mitchell, Vice President of SK&A affiliate, Eastern Testing & Inspection (ETI), is a co-chair of Committee 210 (Evaluation) and current member of Committee 310 (Surface Preparation), Committee 320 (Concrete Repair Materials and Methods), and Committee 710 (Coatings and Waterproofing).
  • Horace Willis, a Senior Associate with SK&A, is a current member of the Guide Specifications Committee, Education Committee, and past president of the ICRI Baltimore-Washington Chapter.
