Gingertown 2016

December 6, 2016 - 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Washington, DC

SK&A participated in Gingertown, a holiday event bringing together architects, engineers, and contractors in the DC area to construct a town made completely of gingerbread.  This year’s theme was Gingertown London, featuring a number of London landmarks such as the House of Peppermint (House of Parliament), Westminster Andes (Westminster Abbey), and Sour Bridge (Tower Bridge).

The handcrafted structures will be donated and put on display at local hospitals, healthcare facilities, and community support organizations.  All of the money raised from the event will go directly to DC charities such as Children’s National Medical Center, Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital, So Others Might Eat, Family Matters, and the Wendt Center for Loss & Healing.
