American Odyssey Relay 2018

SK&A’s Legs of Steel team participated in the 10th anniversary of the American Odyssey Relay, a 200-mile race from Gettysburg, PA to the Southwest Waterfront in Washington, DC.  Teams of up to 12 runners compete in the race, which is split into 36 legs of various distances.  Portions of the proceeds from the relay will be donated to charities such as Hope Connections for Cancer Support and Team Red, White & Blue.

The SK&A Legs of Steel team included runners: Principal – Walid Choueiri; Senior Project Manager – Scott Kabat; Project Managers – Ananth Avadhani and Catherine Pastoor; Assistant Project Manager – Sarah Stocks; and Project Engineers – David Blanco,  Jonathan Gallis, James Grant, Maurice O’Connor, David Stringer, and Christian Viniarski.  SK&A team members Katie Bevington and Janice Snyder also served as volunteers during the race.  The team finished 27th out of 82 teams in 30 hours, 5 minutes, and 56 seconds and placed third in the corporate men's division.
