November 5, 2020 - 11:00am

The National Council of Structural Engineers Associations' (NCSEA) Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards were announced during the virtual Structural Engineering Summit on Thursday, November 5, 2020.  The NCSEA awards recognize some of the best examples of structural engineering ingenuity throughout the world in categories such as new buildings, new bridges or transportation structures, as well as forensic, retrofit, and rehabilitation structures.

SK&A is proud of our team members’ contributions on the International Spy Museum, which was awarded Outstanding Project in the category of New Buildings $80 Million to $200 Million.  We particularly would like to recognize our staff members, Walid Choueiri, PE, SE, Dan Cocciardi, PE, SE, Catherine Pastoor, PE, SE, and Jonathan Gallis, PE, SE, for their efforts on this project.

The International Spy Museum is a new contemporary building featuring museum exhibition, office, retail, classrooms, and event spaces, a glass atrium at the western side, a new 1st floor (exterior plaza and interior lobby and retail space), and a rooftop terrace.
