800 K Street, NW, Renovation

The 12-story, 120,000 sf office building at the Anthem Row complex in Northwest, DC underwent a renovation and modification including a new glass and brick skin, 70,000 sf of retail on three floors, a new entrance onto K Street, a 6,000 sf terrace, and new tenant amenities.

The structural scope included modifications to the ground floor structure, loading dock, and grand stairs as well as demolition and reconstruction of the north bays, west bays, and the full height of the façade.  Additional space was added on the ninth floor through the main roof and a portion of the second-floor slab was removed.
