Structural Engineering Institute Maryland General Meeting

The Structural Engineering Institute Maryland (SEI-MD) serves the Maryland structural engineering community and encourages professional and community service.  Murat Seydoglu, Project Manager with SK&A’s Repair & Restoration Division and Seth Rogge, Associate and Director of Building Information Modeling for SK&A’s Design Division attended the SEI-MD general meeting to present on the “Structural Renovation of Building Structures.”  The presentation covered new conventional analysis and building information modeling methods.  It also included considerations related to code requirements, serviceability, durability, and specific design challenges related to masonry, concrete, steel, and timber in new design and renovation projects.
