A 12-story, Class “A” office building that is located on a triangular block, adjacent to the Washington Convention Center. The contemporary building includes curved façade features as well as a five-story glass atrium that links to an existing, historic church situated on a corner of the project site. In addition to offices, the building includes a stand-alone commercial tenant space on the ground floor, one occupied cellar level below grade, and three levels of below-grade parking for 300 cars.
The gross floor area of the office building, atrium link, roof terrace, and stand-alone program functions total approximately 268,000 gsf, with an additional 115,000 gsf of below-grade construction. The project required a review by the Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) and partial demolition of on-site buildings. The building achieved LEED-CS-Gold certification.
