Camarda, PE, LEED AP

As Principal-in-Charge of SK&A's Maryland office, Marcia Camarda, PE, LEED AP is responsible for directing and supervising all phases of structural engineering services. Marcia joined SK&A in 1984, and over the years has provided structural planning, design project management, and construction administration for many of SK&A’s high profile projects, including corporate headquarters, university campuses, and large-scale mixed-use projects. She is also skilled in structural security design and the design of mission-critical facilities.

A LEED Accredited Professional, Marcia also guides the firm's efforts on all sustainable design projects. She received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1980 and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from George Washington University in 1986. Marcia is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Texas.
