Joseph (Joe) Uchno, PE, oversees the quality delivery of our services, including implementation and refinement of the structural analysis and design efforts, document development, coordination, and Construction Administration. He works closely with clients to explore appropriate options and provide economical and integrated structural solutions.  Joe boasts a diverse project portfolio, managing projects ranging from high-rise office, wood-frame and high-rise residential, mixed-use buildings with grocery stores, to hotels, specialized structures, government design-build projects, and parking garages.

His notable projects include 400 Army Navy Drive, a mixed-use, high-rise residential building; 8300 Wisconsin Avenue, which includes a Harris Teeter grocery store; the Towers Crescent high-rise office building in Tysons Corner; and the Tysons Corner Pedestrian Bridge for which Joe received a Merit Award for Excellence in Structural Engineering from the Structural Engineering Association Metropolitan Washington Chapter (SEA-MW) and an Award of Excellence from the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
